I enjoy creating a feeling of romance and depth, functionality and seamless design, with a return to glamour, gentlemanly sophistication, from a Lodge in the Hill Country of Austin, Texas, a Historical residence, a country estate or to a sharply modern world of the downtown loft to the timeless imaginations of the artful and the iconic.

Background
Marilyn's experience is extensive as well as her Volunteerism with Friends of Kids with Cancer, Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, Child Center-Marygrove Center etc. She has produced and staged professional events and fashion shows for these organizations and many more since 2004.

Vision
Timeless design could be interpreted with historical classicism to contemporary architectural inspirations. My passion in Interior Design blossoms from my client’s desires. It is in their lifestyle and living that creates inspirational design. It is important to listen to your clients, developing a sense of their needs, bridging the gap between a designer and client and developing a storyboard for what they need, desire and educating them on all that we as designers have in our repertoire.
As a designer I am inspired by my travels, history, architectural design, the Renaissance Era, and other brilliant architects and designers who too are inspired by the sheer nature of living in this wonderful world full of possibilities. I am particularly captivated by true historical design realizing that artisans had to sculpt, carve, forge, sew, embroider and invent quite literally every facet of a palace, castle, museum or building. To fully appreciate lavish designs for the aristocrats is to pay homage to the brilliant and humble artisans who toiled for the sake of their crafts.
